Album Włodka Pawlika „Night in Calisia” z solistą Randym Breckerem i Orkiestrą Filharmonii Kaliskiej otrzymał nominację do Grammy w kategorii Najlepszy Album Dużego Zespołu Jazzowego.

To pierwsza nominacja dla polskiego jazzmana w historii tych najbardziej prestiżowych nagród muzycznych. Płytę, która ukazała się w listopadzie 2012 r. w Polsce nakładem Pawlik Relations, wydała w sierpniu 2013 r. amerykańska wytwórnia Summit Records. W kategorii „Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album” 56. edycji nagród Grammy nominowano jeszcze cztery inne albumy, ale to Włodek Pawlik Trio, Randy Brecker i Filharmonia Kaliska mają największe szanse na zdobycie statuetki gramofonu.Zobacz na Empik.rp.pl

To drugi album naszego pianisty nagrany ze słynnym trębaczem, jaki ukazał się na amerykańskim rynku. – Zmieniona została okładka albumu, bo amerykański wydawca chciał umieścić na niej dwa portrety: Randy’ego Breckera i mój – jak w sierpniu powiedział „Rz” Włodek Pawlik. Od sierpnia „Night in Calisia” miała dużo entuzjastycznych recenzji w USA. Poprzednio doceniono płytę „Nostalgic Journey: Tykocin Jazz Suite” z 2009 r. również wydaną przez Summit Records.

„Night in Calisia” miała swoja prapremierę 19 czerwca 2010 roku w Kaliszu. Kompozycję zamówił u Włodka Pawlika na 1850-lecie miasta Kalisza dyrektor Filharmonii Kaliskiej, dyrygent Adam Klocek. Nagrania dokonano dwa lata temu w studiach Polskiego Radia.

W październiku Włodek Pawlik odebrał w Łodzi nagrodę Grand Prix Jazz Melomani za album roku 2012 – „Night in Calisia”.

Album „Night in Calisia” był jazzową Płytą Roku 2012 w podsumowaniu „Rzeczpospolitej”.

Anna Maria Jopek was een ster van 7de editie van Jazzy Tiel Festival 2 november 2013.  Haar concert in Nederland was mogelijk ook dankzij medewerking van Stichting MMusic. Donderdag 31 oktober Anna Maria Jopek was op bezoek bij Poolse Radio Amsterdam in Jazz Cafe. Twee uur gesprek over muziek, bijzondere mensen, antwoorden op de vragen van de fans….

Het concert in Agnietenhof in Tiel was een groot succes. Poolse ambassadeur Jan Borkowski was aanwezig bij het concert. Het lokale televisie in Tiel heeft een kort verslag gemaakt.
