Trasa koncertowa Tango Extremo w Polsce : 20.06.2015 – 28.06.2015

The Dutch tango ensemble Tango Extermo is going to do a concert tour (concerts, two workshops for the youth and a cultural cooperation with jazz pianist Wlodek Pawlik) through Poland from 20 until 29 of June 2015. They will perform six concerts in Poland, knowing:

Desired results: The desired result is a closer cooperation of artists and artistic projects from The Netherlands and Poland. The Tour is organised by Polish-Dutch Foundation MMusic www.mmusic.eu . MMusic represents Dutch artist in Poland and Polish artists in the Netherlands.

After the tour in Poland, another MMusic artist -Wlodek Pawlik will travel to The Netherlands to host a masterclasses at the conservatory of Rotterdam, a second and similar masterclass is being planned right now for the jazz department of the conservatory of Amsterdam. For next theatre season concerts of the MMusic polish artists are being planned in The Netherlands.

Op 20 juni 2015 Tango Extremo begint zijn eerste tour in Polen. Binnenkort meer informatie hierover. Nu iets over het band zelf.

Sinds haar oprichting in 2003 heeft Tango Extremo een ontwikkeling meegemaakt die op zijn minst ‘opmerkelijk’ te noemen is. Het orkest heeft op praktisch alle grote- en kleine concertpodia van Nederland geconcerteerd, maar ook het buitenland heeft al verscheidende malen met dit ensemble kennis mogen maken.
De groep is opgericht door violiste Tanya Schaap, die vanaf dat moment de artistieke motor is achter dit ensemble. Op Podium Vlieland zal de groep in trio-versie ten tonele verschijnen (viool, piano, bas).
Het repertoire van de groep is zeer breed en erg bijzonder in zijn stijl te noemen. Invalshoeken waaronder klassieke muziek, jazz- en Braziliaanse muziek worden gecombineerd met ‘tango nuevo’.
De groep heeft zich de afgelopen jaren gespecialiseerd in de muziek uit het Argentijnse Río de la Plata gebied en diverse cross-overs vanuit het tango nuevo idioom. Op nationaal gebied heeft het ensemble een niet snel meer weg te denken plaats in het Nederlandse muziekleven weten te veroveren. Tango Extremo speelt op de meest uiteenlopende podia, variërend van jazzfestival tot klassieke concertzaal tot tango salon.
Het ensemble heeft de afgelopen zes jaar onder andere getoured in Spanje, Italië, Kroatië, Mexico, Turkije, Kurdistan, Frankrijk, Verenigd Koninkrijk, België, Zuid-Korea, Uruguay, Portugal, Ierland en China. In november 2009 tourde de groep zeer succesvol langs twaalf grote theaters in China, waaronder in Beijing, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hefei en Nanjing. Daarop volgden concertreizen naar o.a. Rusland, China, Zuid-Afrika, Botswana, Groenland en Uruguay. In augustus 2009 stond Tango Extremo als enige niet-Argentijnse orkest op het ‘Buenos Aires Tango Festival’ in Argentinië: het meest prestigieuze tango festival ter wereld.

20 czerwca 2015 MMusic organizuje kolejna trasę koncertowa w Polsce. Tym razem na gościnnych scenach w Polsce wystąpi Tango Extremo. A tymczasem trochę informacji o zespole.

Od chwili powstania Tango Extremo w 2003, zespół przeszedł spora odmianę. Występował na prawie wszystkich scenach w Holandii. Koncertowali również poza granicami Królestwa Niderlandów. Grupa powstała z inicjatywy skrzypaczki. Tanya Schaap od początku była motorem artystycznym tego zespołu. Skład grupy jest dosyć niekonwencjonalny, co daje sporo możliwości i niezwykle unikalne brzmienie.
